i’ve been meaning to bake these cupcakes for a while now and i’m glad to say that i’ve finally baked them.
meet my little s’more cupcakes. a layer of crushed graham cracker, chocolate cake, marshmallow frosting.
aren’t they cute? they’re like little fluffy clouds on top. the homemade marshmallow frosting was light and airy and not too sweet. a perfect compliment to the chocolate cake.

whenever the talk of weddings come up, the first thing I think about is my future wedding cake. what it might look like, the possible flavor, etc.
so when I was asked to make a cake for a mystery bride and groom I was excited. A simple design was wanted – 3 tiered cake covered with fondant. I think they were expecting a much smaller cake than what I brought in their wedding day. I hope it was a good little surprise for them. ^^
cant wait to make another cake.
maybe I’ll make one at the end of this month.

i’ve been itching to use a new cupcake pan that i bought from ikea.
it’s taller than your normal muffin tin and i think it gives for a more modern look.
take a look. isnt it cute? so tall and sophisticated looking.
they take in the same (and if not a little more) than the normal muffin tray would (batter wise).
and when it comes out….they come out looking like big tall mushrooms.
i really do like them. i think i just might have to go and buy another pan so i can make double the amount with faster speed.
a tall tiramisu cupcake filled with a coffee cream cheese filling.
frosted with coffee whipped cream.
dusted with cocoa powder.
and topped with shaved chocolate.
