We’ve all received a pot of flowers this week from the boss. A simple kind gesture that brightens everyone up. I was talking to a coworker and she told me about one of her jobs back in the day… It was in her contract that she would receive fresh flowers every Monday morning. Now how amazing would that be? To receive flowers regularly. Why is it that they bring so much joy into people’s lives?
I’m flying up north to Seattle this weekend to visit my great aunt. Maybe I should take up some flowers.

Whenever I walk into a Michaels, I need to make sure I control myself and only buy the things I intended on buying. Every item there seems to be something that “I really need” and they somehow end up in my shopping cart. Lately, I’ve been walking in without a cart or basket which only allows me to purchase things that I can carry with my own two hands.
Last week I needed some boxes for a macaron order and decided I’d pay a visit to my trusty Michaels. While in line, I got suckered into buying a couple stamps- how could I resist?? They were only a dollar!!!. Anyways I thought I would share my lovely findings.
